Snowflakes

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Even though it's already near the end of November, here in Chicago we've already had one day where we saw some snow flurries. So in hope that we get more snow in time for the Holidays, I chose to do a snowflake design to post for today.

Although I really like the icy blue with the snowflakes, I think I'll have to try a snowflake design on a darker color too, such as navy.

Versatile Blogger Award Nomination!

Happy Sunday blog readers!

Two exciting things to share with you today: this is my 50th blog post and I have been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by both E. from Pretty Little Nails and Julia from Creativenails4fun! Thanks girls!

I'm afraid I'm not going to nominate any other bloggers because most of the blogs I follow have already been nominated. However, here are 7 things about me:

1. I am from the Chicago Suburbs.

2. I am an all-around Chicago sports fan...I cheer on the White Sox, the Bulls, the Blackhawks, and the Bears. My favorite of these teams to cheer on is the Bears during football season.

3. I have green eyes and auburn-colored hair.

4. I have been playing the violin for nine years. This unfortunately means I have to keep my left hand nails short so that I can use the tips of my fingers to finger the notes on my violin. So if you were wondering why my nails are pretty short most of the time, that's why.

5. I have never been out of the country (the United States) even though I want to visit another country really badly. I guess I can always study abroad at some point!  :)

6. On the weekends I teach a 3-year-old Sunday School class at my church. I have been volunteering my time in teaching this class for four years now.

7. I have a LOT of purple clothing. It seems that every time I go shopping, something purple always calls out to me, lol.

Puppy Paw Nails

Happy Veterans Day!

Just so you guys know, my posting will probably be pretty sparse for the next couple weeks. I will be in the pit orchestra for my school's fall musical production of The Sound of Music, and will be starting to have three-hour rehearsals from now into next week's perfomances. So basically I will have school, then other after school activities, then rehearsals, which means I won't be home until 9pm when I will need to start my homework. Soooooo please bare with me as my schedule gets even busier for the next couple of weeks!

Today I will be showing you a puppy paw nail design I did.

Pink Rose Nails

Hey all!

I hope you've all had a great weekend! I know I did! :)

Today I have a pink rose accented manicure to show you today.

Cartoon Turkey Nails

Happy November Everyone!

I can't believe it's already November! It honestly feels like October went by in practically 3 seconds. Although it's only a few days after Halloween, I'm already starting to look forward to Thanksgiving, so I have some cartoon turkey nails to show you today!

Just a side note, I meant to do a turkey accented nails on my ring finger, but when I started painting, I then noticed that I had started painting on the wrong finger nail...oh well.

Anyway, here it is:

Thanksgiving is honestly one of my favorite holidays. I have so much to be thankful for. And of course, there's always the amazing food for Thanksgiving too! I can't wait! :)
